She likes it on top by MollyFootman She likes it on top by MollyFootman
Another of my Jungle Girl pictures.  I still haven't given her a name. Here she has nimbly avoided being grabbed by the big silverback whose territory she has inadvertently invaded.  He frantically tries to knock her off his back as her powerful thighs squeeze his neck compressing his carotid arteries.  As the blood supply to his brain diminishes he gets more clumsy and frantic.  She could run her jawbone knife through his eye and kill him outright, but she respects him and hopes this will be resolved without fatality.

If I do more of these pictures would you like to see her triumph?  Or do you long for her defeat?  Let me know what sort of thing you are interested in.  I don't promise to render what you tell me about, but you never know what might inspire teh Mollz! :giggle:

Not really intending this to be a series, but here is the first picture that inspired this one:Territorial dispute in the jungle by MollyFootman

Molly's art notes: Rendered in Poser Pro 2014 with the native Firefly rendering engine and tweaked in Photoshop afterward.  All the meshes and textures have been legally obtained and if you are wanting to know where to buy them for your Poser or Daz Studio library just ask and I'll point you to the vendors.

Hi, Molly!
Will this story continue?
This is a marvelous picture! I'd love to see this fight, to see your jungle girl defeat the gorilla with her bare hands!
And, and the end, triumphantly lift her defeated and unconscious foe over her head, while yelling her victory shout!

I will probably get back around to it, Max.  I had in mind something like that for her but I haven't gotten around to giving her the attention that she deserves.  Heck, I haven't even figured out a good name for her.  So many projects! :giggle:

I really appreciate the nice comment, though, thank you!

I really lke your art and specially this character.

About her name?

If you take the classic jungle girls from the 50's you will find weird names like Nyoka or Lorna and many other "urban" names lke Camilla.

If you do not you prefer something more "jungleish", Molly sounds quite good for me.

Heh.  I don't think I'll name her 'Molly' even though I identify quite a bit with my female characters.  I have seen many of the classic comic books heroines whose names you reference there.  I particularly liked Nyoka.  Of course I'll give it some thought and one of these days I must return to my jungle girl.

Hi, Molly. I really like this series with your jungle girl fighting the gorilla. This is a good job, if you decide to continue on her, I hope the next will be just as beautiful.
My personal desire is to see she triumph at the end of a long struggle with the mighty opponent. More powerful and evil he is, the greater is the glory of victory! I see that she has the typical knife hero of the jungle, but, please, I would love to see she defeat the beast using only muscle strength of her stunning thighs! Um, yes, I really like the idea of the girl warrior who wins thanks to his strength and agility, without weapons. I do not know, maybe she could drop to hand her knife and she could see herself lost, but after a moment's hesitation, retake courage and tighten the grip until she sees her opponent to the ground!

And she could have her attitude of victory? Hu-huh! ... For me it would be great to see she standing triumphantly on her opponent unconscious (or dead? 'Well, I leave this up to you ...). And then what? Here, she could meet your in true Tarzan-style, put her foot on the back large silver and yes, issue a great shout of victory, that resonates far, so that the jungle knows that she is victorious!
Here, a classic Burroughs story, though played by a girl-Tarzan. Here, all of this sounds interesting to you?   ;) (Wink)

You are certainly not alone in your desire to see my girl triumph!  I really need to give her a name because she is popular and deserves more pictures.  I'll take all your ideas into consideration.  My own feeling is that she should eventually triumph over the gorilla and I'm fine if it is by her own strength and not by the use of a blade.  I'll probably post some more pictures over the next few weeks.

Thank you so much for your encouragement!

Thank you, Molly! I'm glad you consider my suggestions. And above all, I am happy to know that you like the idea of her triumph over the beast ... and without weapons. So, among other things, you can open a number of possibilities; a knife could mortally wound the gorilla, but not necessarily the leg grab, unless the pressure is lethal. A weapon makes the fight more than one way, muscle strength maybe not, the enemy can be defeated without necessarily being killed. She would triumph anyway.

And then the idea of a jungle girl who defeats a beast three times bigger than she is very exciting. the strength of the gorilla is higher but her skill win her over brute force and animal instinct. Oops, perhaps I have dwelt a bit. But I hope you appreciate these other my ideas. I can not wait to see your next artworks.   ;) (Wink)

Yes, I find it exciting too.  I am thinking that I might do 3 or 4 more pictures in that series to show how she eventually overcomes the silverback.  At present, though, I am working on the next page of my NightFall story.  So many good ideas and so little time.... ;)

You do not need the knife! Just your muscles!

Yes, I remember a previous correspondence with you.  I think the voting is 3 for triumph, 2 for surprise reversal and defeat and one who just likes the picture.  In the end, I'll ponder and do as I will, but I really enjoy the feedback and inspiration on story lines when I am working on a series of pictures.  Thank you, my dear!

Triumph!  She can make a fatality out of him, or not, as long as she uses only her own strength and fighting skills to overcome this beastie, or any others that she comes across.  Guns, knives, spears, arrows are for wimps!

Oh Ms. Molly! I love the word play! Great title for a great pic. Again outstanding lighting, soft and subdued to give me the impression this is happening under the canopy of trees, with rays of light spilling down here and there. It doesn't appear to be a bright sunny day, more like an overcast one, but that is just my impression of the light. The stonework in the background leaves me with the impression this is happening near ruins with the greenery well placed (love the leaves up the tree bark, nice touch there). Good fabric work on the jungle girl's top and forearm wraps and I love her body build (I'm lean towards more 'thick' than 'thin' figures).

The wide-eyed expression of the silverback says even more of his distress when compared to the first picture. With such an expression, this seems like a triumph to come. At least I'd like to see triumph.

Thank you, as always, for a detailed comment with much for me to digest, Jeffery!  There are ruins on this set, they were not visible in the first picture (I'm a great fan of enigmatic ruins, statues and such).

As for her shape, I tried to make her very "girly" but nicely muscled, too; not muscle bound like Lulu Lighting but believably strong.  I'm glad you find her lovely!

I took this picture to the edge of triumph for her.  She's sure to win unless something very unlucky occurs.  I am torn between that and finishing with a nice picture of her standing triumphantly over the unconscious silverback.  I'm pleased you weighed in on the side of triumph.

I -love- the balance you came up with between "girly" and nicely muscled. To me it was perfect. It had a sense of softness to invoke a want to care for her fate, yet had enough build to be assured she is not soft, but able, and capable of taking care of herself. I'm not sure if that makes sense, let me know if its doesn't. I do find her very lovely indeed! :D (Big Grin)

Whether or not she wins out in this story, she's another triumph for teh Mollz! Cheerleader

I think I may feature her in more pictures Jeffery as you make me feel like I really hit the mark with her.  You are not the only fan either. :giggle: I wish the mesh she was based on was easier to work with in Poser but I guess it's worth the trouble as she comes out looking so nice.;)

She should be careful - it'd be pretty easy in that thick jungle for a thrashing gorilla to knock her head into a tree, right when she was on the verge of winning.

Not saying I'm voting for that.  Just saying be careful.  The more you know, and all that...

Heh.  I don't know gorilla anatomy as well as I know human, but there is a pretty vulnerable point where the carotids enter the base of the skull; they ARE protected by the sternocleidomastiod muscle at the base of the neck.  I think I'll just go with she has insanely strong thighs... :giggle:

The idea of her being in a position to finish him but letting him live and him coming to view her as a kind of alpha pack leader appeals to me.  If I were to continue the story I think I'd go with something like that.  He'd rally other lesser apes to aid her... she'd have kind of a primate army. ;)  I think the original Tarzan stories did something like this but I have to admit that though I've seen plenty of movies and read some of the comic books I have never read the original E.R. Burroughs books.

Thank you very much for taking the time to comment, my dear!
