Description

Lady Penelope York eyed the large dark-skinned man leading the small party.  "You're quite sure he knows where he's going?  We've come rather farther from the campsite than I expected," she said to the scandalously clad woman who served as her interpreter.

"Miss Penny, D'Jengu knows forest better than anyone.  Soon we come to the village of the witch you seek.  You learn the secret you come for!" The interpreter replies.

"The secret of eternal life is worth the walk in the woods, I reckon."

Molly's art notes: Here we have a different sort of Steampunk picture.  This was set up and rendered in Poser Pro 11.  Lady Penelope is based on my dear Second Life girlfriend :iconenglishdamsel:.  Her mesh and that of the interpreter is based on Victoria 4.  The actual tweaking of the Penelope character is the work of my husband, Mad-Mikhail.  I see Penny slightly differently but I used his mesh because it's easier for me to set up clothing for V4 than for the G2F mesh I have recently used to represent my lovely friend.  D'Jengu and his colleagues are based on the Michael 3 mesh.  There's always a rush to the newest mesh but some of the older characters are very serviceable particularly if you tweak the textures a bit.  They are generally lower polygon count, as well, which is a good thing if you are using a machine that is not as powerful as the Render Box II.  5 characters and all the forest stuff was a whole lot of Polys for the ol' Render Box II to handle. :giggle:

It may not be immediately obvious but I layered a nice picture of a rainforest into this to give it more depth.  The picture I used can be found here:Tongass National Forest 7 by ShadowsStocks

Note that it is not an African Jungle but a North American rainforest but the colors were pefect for what I was going for. :XD:  Thank you, :iconshadowsstocks:
